The Club Action
Planning Scheme

The Club Action Planning Scheme (CAPS) is aligned to the Sport England Clubmark accreditation scheme which is the only national cross sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections. It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards.

Please visit the England Netball website for further information.

For additional information on CAPS and how to get in touch with accredited clubs, contact Janette Bowden on 07595 863974.

CAPS criteria now includes the requirement for Club Safeguarding Officers (CSOs) to attended a Time to Listen course. Time to Listen is a netball-specific, easy to follow 3 hour safeguarding workshop which is delivered by experienced, netball-oriented tutors, free for England Netball CAPS Clubs' CSOs. The training is developed by England Netball and the Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) of the NSPCC.

Please contact Netball East Regional Coordinator by email at or by telephone on 01462 428336, for further information.
