Another hugely successful season for Cambridgeshire Netball!

In the Regional division all four teams hold their places with a big congratulations to Rookies who have won promotion to Regional 1 – we wish them all the best, and wish all the regional squads another successful season.

As ever in CPL we have had some great netball throughout the season – so well done to all of our teams. Congratulations go to Royston Netball Club for taking top spot this season with 112 points, missing out on promotion into regional by the narrowest of margins. Also congratulations to Icons for winning the second half of the league this season with 76 points and to City of Ely as runners up on 74 points.

CDNL faced a challenging season due to the weather but all games where eventually played! Congratulations to all Divisional winners and runners up, especially Cambourne 1  who will be leaving us again to join the County Premier League.  We wish them the best of luck.

Elite summer league is now in its 4th year and proving very successful. The Elite League is now just over half way through and running very well.  We have had a core of wonderful umpires that have made themselves available for many matches and has enabled me to secure umpires for all Elite matches.  Huge thanks to you all.

Finally the Junior Development Group continues to grow with 55 teams competing regularly at 3 different venues: Impington, Milton and Wisbech. Congratulations to the following league winners:

U16A - Saffron Hawks A, U16B - Whittlesey Warriers, U14A - Saffron Hawks A, U14B – Rookies, U12  -   Saffron Hawks

A special mention to our own Floria Marshall for 10 years on the Cambridge County Committee. A BIG thank you from everyone for all you do for Cambridgeshire Netball!

And finally, a BIG thank you to Linda Swain who steps down as Vice Chair this year. Linda will remain on the committee for JDG but we want to thank her for everything she has done for the Comittee and the knowledge that she has shared.
