CoJags u14 Triumph at Regional Round of National Clubs Competition

13 March 2016 saw COTTENHAM JAGUARS under 14 A squad travel to Ipswich to compete in the East Regoinal round of England Netball's National Clubs CompetitionCoJags A qualified for the Regional round after being undefeated during the first half of the season in CCNA's Junior Development League.

After a nervous opening at the start of the Regional tournament, the players soon hit their stride and won their next three matches convincingly.

Their last group game, against eventual winners Turnford, ended in a 15-4 defeat, but CoJags progressed to the knock-out stages on goal difference.

In their semi-final, CoJags faced the other group winners, Brentwood, and a close contest ended in a 7-6 win for the Cambridgeshire side.

The team lost the final against Turnford, winners of the Hertfordshire County round, but all the players gained valuable experience against tough opposition.

CoJags now compete at the National Clubs Final tournament on 28 and 29 May.
