On Sunday 28 April, our girls where given the opportunity to compete against squads from all areas of the country. We took 2 squads, an U16 and U14 made up of Satelite and County Academy girls. The day was a great sucess and the girls where also able to meet Saracens Mavericks players who where on hand to help with warm-ups and advice.

A massive thank you to Bedfordshire for organising the day and a huge congratulations to our teams.

U16 placed 4th

U14 placed 10th

Write up by U16 Maddy Frear -

Last Sunday we had an U16 tournament against counties across England. This included some challenging games against Manchester, Bucks, and Cheshire. It was great to play some new teams and stretch ourselves against tough competition. Our team was combined from county and satellite players and despite only having one training session before hand together, our team played really well together from the beginning of the tournament winning the first half of our first game by two goals. As we had a large squad we tried lots of different combinations and as a team were able to work well together. Throughout the day we played well as a team and worked out what we felt was a winning combination to use during our tougher games. Due to everyone's hard work and determination throughout the day we finished the tournament in 4th place out of 14th; a result which we are all very proud of.
