National Schools Tournament
This page provides information on how your secondary school in Cambridgeshire can take part in the biggest schools competition in the netball calendar.

How can my school get involved?
Email your interest to cambsnetball@outlook.com. The County Schools Committee will contact you with the relevant information.
All schools must be a member of England Netball prior to taking part in the county tournaments.
What is the format?
U19 is an open tournament which is held annually on a Wednesday afternoon in October. Next date is 15 October 2025.
U16 and U14 schools qualify through local district rounds. The winner and runner up of each district round are invited to participate in the annual county tournaments which are held on a Saturday in November. Next date is 8 November 2025.
Cambridgeshire County Schools Tournaments are held across the region every year in October and November.
What happens next?
Winners and runners up of each age group qualify for entry to the Regional Schools Tournaments which are held annually on a Saturday in January/February. Next date is 7 February 2026.
Here, schools will compete against the other qualifiers from the seven counties which make up the East Region.
Regional tournament winners and runners up of each age group go on to represent the East Region at the National Schools Tournament. This is held over a weekend in March.
Competition rules
All rounds of the competition are bound by the National Schools rules and regulations.

Date: Saturday 8 November 2025
Venue: Perse School, Hills Road, Cambridge
Regional Schools Tournament for all age groups
Date: Saturday 7 February 2026
Venue: Stanborough School, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire
