This page provides information on how your secondary school in Cambridgeshire can take part in the biggest schools competition in the netball calendar.

If you have any questions or require information not found, please email cambsnetball@outlook.com

How can my school get involved?

All schools must be a member of England Netball prior to taking part in the county tournaments.

What is the format?

Cambridgeshire County Schools Tournaments are held across the region every year in October and November.

There are 3 age groups. U16 and U14 that play in district rounds. U19 is an open tournament.

The winners and runners up in each age group qualify for entry to the Regional Schools Tournament. This is held in January/February. The East region is made up of seven counties.

Winners and runners up in each age group go on to the England Netball National Schools Tournament. They represent their county and the East region.

2024 Representation

Cambridgeshire was represented by:

U14: The Perse and The Leys.

U16: Stephen Perse and The Perse.

U19: Hills Road Sixth Form, The Perse and Stephen Perse who qualified with a wild card entry.

All schools thoroughly enjoyed the very challenging experience.

There are no Cambridgeshire qualifiers for National Schools this year but Stephen Perse U19’s made it through to the semi-finals. The committee would like to congratulate all of the schools who represented our county on their achievement at the regional tournament.
