Cambourne Netball Club: East Region Outstanding Netball Club

  • Reintroduced junior netball, alongside a schools strategic partnership at a brand new school – Cambourne Village College, opened September 2013.
  • Since 2006, run a number of Back to Netball courses including one in 2013 which was attended by approximately 20 women, many who remain with the club.
  • Been interviewed by Radio Cambridgeshire twice in support of England Netball’s 10:1:1 strategy, to promote Back to Netball and junior netball at the club, as well as receiving coverage in the local community press.
  • Actively promoted netball at local community days.
