CCNA AGM
The last few years have been like no other, but it was great to be able to restart back in March 2021 and it’s been wonderful to see so many of you back out on the courts playing the sport we all love. Hopefully we’ll continue to see the growth of netball within Cambridgeshire, spurred on by a gold medal again this summer!
A Few thank you’s
Firstly, to all the Covid Officers for all your hard work in helping clubs and members return to the courts safely – I know it wasn’t an easy task.
Secondly, to all the league committees, umpires, scorers and other volunteers across the county – without people like you giving up your time for the benefit of others, we wouldn’t achieve as many successes as we do here in Cambs
Finally, a huge thank you to the ladies on the committee who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure netball progresses within out county. I’m beyond grateful I am to have you all sitting alongside me – your support has been invaluable.

Thank you to everyone for remaining on the committee and for Clare and Liv stepping into new roles – a big welcome to Sally too 😊 Of course it comes with sadness that we say goodbye to Floria in her role as Secretary this year who moves on to take on the role of Chair at CPL. We’re so delighted for you to be taking on the new role and excited to continue to work with you.
On behalf of the committee, I’d like to say thank you for everything Flo has done. Flo gives up countless hours to ensure than netball continues to move forward at a fast pace, she coaches, mentors, umpires, sit on committees, organise competitions and just gives so much of her time to benefit others. Since becoming secretary in 2010 she completely overhauled the way county administration works and keep us all in line and your record keeping is just on another level. She is a true netball legend. Flo now takes on the role of CPL chair but will remain a valuable member of our committee under ‘Secretary Mentor’.
